Additional information
AFH
Architecture for Humanity is a nonprofit organization founded to promote efficient and practical designs to help solve some of the worlds crises. AFH recently held a design competition for HIV/AIDS mobile clinic in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The book Rites of Hope presents 51 African tribes in ceremonial festivals and events, showing that we must help fight HIV/AIDS so that the people can return to their positive lives. The red text running through the book list the statistics of HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa, still emphasizing the main point of the competition. The poster is for the three winners of the competition. On the back of both the book and the poster there are African patterns that tie the projects together.
