This set was inspired by the concept of Mono No Aware: a deep understanding and appreciation of impermanence. The images strive to evoke an awareness of the transience of all things to heighten appreciation of their ephemeral beauty and reality. The images from the Ephemera photoshoot were printed on canvases and then painted, blurring the line between photography and painting, reality and fantasy.
